Removing the speakers

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. SD card
    2. battery cover
    3. battery
    4. keyboard
    5. hard drive
    6. base cover
    7. palmrest
  3. To remove the speaker:
    1. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board [1].
    2. Unroute the speaker cable and remove the cable from the routing channels.
    3. Lift the speakers, along with the speaker cable and remove it away from the system [2].
