Removing the power switch

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the side cover.
  3. Remove the front bezel.
  4. Remove the Hard drive and optical drive module

Steps

  1. Disconnect the power switch cable from the system board.
  2. Press the power switch retention tabs and pull the power switch out from the system.
