Removing the Input/Output (I/O) Panel

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove:
    1. computer cover

    2. front bezel

  3. Remove the screws that secure the I/O panel cage to the chassis. Figure displaying removing the screws that secure the USB 3.0 module to the I/O panel.
  4. Remove the I/O panel cage from the chassis.Figure displaying pulling out the USB 3.0 module
  5. Disconnect the cables to release the I/O panel to remove it from the computer. Figure displaying removing the cables from the I/O panel.
  6. Remove the screws that secure the I/O panel to the I/O panel cage. Figure displaying removing the screws which secure the I/O panel to the chassis.
  7. Remove the I/O panel from the I/O panel cage.Figure displaying removing the I/O panel from the chassis.
