Installing the Heatsink

  1. Remove all the memory modules.
  2. Install the bracket into the system board and tighten the screws. Figure displaying how to install the bracket.
  3. Place the liquid cooler onto the bracket at 45 degree rotation.
    • NOTE: The tabs on the bottom of the heatsink must align with the bracket.

  4. Connect the heatsink fan cable to the system board.Figure displaying how to connect the heatsink cable.
  5. Press firmly on the heatsink and rotate clockwise.Figure displaying how to install the heatsink.
  6. Install:
    1. memory shroud (center)
    2. left cover

  7. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer .
