Removing the 4-cell battery
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
- Remove the SD card.
- Remove the base cover.

Steps
- Disconnect the battery cable from the connector on the system board.
- Remove the four (M2x3) screws that secure the battery to the palmrest.
- Lift and move the battery away from the computer.
