Schedule a reboot of the nodes
Schedule a reboot of the nodes.
Prerequisites
- Log in to the VMware vSphere Web Client.
- From the Inventory icon, select the VxRail cluster and click the Configure tab.
- Select
Hosts and view the information in the
Last Reboot column to see when the hosts were last rebooted.

You can view rebooted hosts in the Update Advisor Report. To generate the report, see KB 213039. In the report, ensure that the Group by component box is enabled to view Last Reboot column.
Steps
- Select the VxRail cluster and click the Configure tab.
- Click Hosts and then select the node(s) you want to restart and click REBOOT.
- Select Schedule Reboot. Enter a date and time for the reboot and click NEXT .
- Verify that all checks on the Prechecks window display a Success status and click NEXT.
- Review the details on the
Summary window and click
APPLY SCHEDULE.
To modify the scheduled reboot, click Edit or Delete on the Cluster Hosts window
