Procedure

  1. Remove the cable from the routing guide on hard-drive cage.
  2. Open the securing clips and release the hard drive cables.
  3. Disconnect the hard-drive power cable from the system board.
  4. Disconnect the hard-drive data cables from the system board.

  5. Remove the four screws (M3X4) that connects the hard-drive cage to the middle frame.
  6. Lift the hard-drive cage off the middle frame.

  7. Remove the four screws (M2X3) that connects the interposer to the hard-drive cage.
  8. Disconnect the interposer from the hard-drive cage.
