Introduction to Dell SupportAssist PC Analytics
Dell SupportAssist PC Analytics is a background service that helps Dell Technical Support detect, diagnose, and resolve hardware or performance issues faster. It performs automatic, silent system health checks, driver scans, and diagnostics, and securely shares this telemetry with Dell for efficient troubleshooting when required.
Once installed, SupportAssist PC Analytics:
- Runs periodic scans to assess the hardware and drivers on your system.
- Sends telemetry data securely to Dell through encrypted communication.
- Enables Dell Technical Support to remotely perform diagnostics during support interactions.
The service operates silently in the background and does not require manual input.
NOTE:SupportAssist PC Analytics is part of the Dell Connected Service
Delivery (DCSD) suite. SupportAssist PC Analytics reinstalls automatically when the operating
system is reimaged. This reinstallation feature can be disabled in BIOS settings. For more
