Procedure

  1. Open the latch and disconnect the power-adapter port cable off the palm-rest assembly.
  2. Peel the power-adapter port cable off the palm-rest assembly.
  3. Peel the tape that secures the keyboard bracket to the palm-rest assembly. Image: Removing the keyboard
  4. Remove the 30 screws (M1.6x2.2) that secure the keyboard bracket to the palm-rest assembly.
