Removing the display assembly

Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
Remove the:
1. base cover
2. battery
3. WWAN card
4. WLAN card
5. hinge cap
To disconnect the display cable:
1. Release the WLAN cable from the routing channels [1].
2. Disconnect the eDP cable [2].
3. Remove the screws and lift the metal bracket that secure the display cable on the computer [3, 4].
4. Disconnect the display cable [5].
To remove hinge screws:
1. Remove the M2.0x5.0 screws that secure the display assembly [1].
2. Release the antenna cables and display cable from the routing channel [2, 3].
Turn over the computer.
To remove the display assembly:
1. Remove the M2.0x5.0 screws that secure the display assembly to the computer [1].
2. Open the display [2].
Lift the display assembly away from the computer.
