How to replace the Solid State Drive (SSD) 2280 on a Optiplex Micro 7010

This 3D experience gives you the step by step process of replacing the Solid State Drive (SSD) 2280 on a Optiplex Micro 7010.

Removal

Side Cover

1. Identify the side cover highlighted in blue.
2. Loosen the thumb screw that secures the side cover to the chassis.
3. Slide and lift the side cover off the chassis.

Hard Drive Assembly

1. Identify the hard drive assembly highlighted in blue.
2. Hold the tab to unlock the hard drive assembly, then slide it to release it from the chassis.
3. Lift the hard drive assembly off the chassis.

Hard Drive Assembly

1. Identify the hard drive assembly location highlighted in blue.
2. Install the hard drive assembly on the chassis and line up the tabs with the slots.
3. Slide and hard drive assembly into place on the chassis.

Side Cover

1. Identify the side cover location highlighted in blue.
2. Slide the side cover into place towards the front of the computer
