Removal
System Cover
Identify the system cover highlighted in blue.
Using a flat head or a Phillips screwdriver, rotate the lock counter clockwise.
Lift the latch till the system cover slides back.
Hold the cover on both sides, and lift the cover away from the system.
Airshroud
Internal PERC riser
Identify the internal PERC riser highlighted in blue.
Open the cable guiding latch for easy access.
Lower the plunger.
Hold the blue touch points and lift the internal PERC riser out of the system.
Turn the internal riser so that the PERC card is facing up.
Press the cable connector and disconnect the PERC cable from the backplane.
Internal Dual SD Module (IDSDM)
Identify the internal dual SD module (IDSDM) highlighted in blue
Pull up on the blue pull tab and lift the IDSDM out of the system
PHM
System memory
Identify the system memory highlighted in blue.
To release the memory module from the socket, simultaneously press the ejectors on both ends of the socket.
Lift and remove the memory module from the system.
Low profile right riser
Identify the low profile right riser highlighted in blue
Hold the touch points and lift the expansion card riser from the riser connector on the system board.
Position the riser so that the expansion card will be visible to remove.
Open the expansion card latch
Remove the expansion card from the riser and the remaining part is low profile right riser.
Low profile left riser
Identify the low profile left riser highlighted in blue
Hold the touch points and lift the expansion card riser from the riser connector on the system board.
Position the riser so that the expansion card will be visible to remove.
Open the expansion card latch
Remove the expansion card from the riser and the remaining part is low profile left riser.
LOM riser card
Identify the LOM riser card highlighted in blue
Loosen the screws that secure the LOM riser card to the system board.
Release the two blue side plastic snaps holding the LOM riser card.
Hold the LOM riser card by the edges on either side, and lift to remove it from the connector on the system board.
Slide the LOM riser card towards the front of the system until the Ethernet connectors or the Small form-factor pluggable (SFP) are clear of the slot in the back of the system.
System Board
Identify the system board highlighted in blue
Disconnect the cables from the system board.
Disconnect the cables from the system board.
Disconnect the cables from the system board.
Remove screws securing the system board to the chassis.
Hold the system board holder, slightly lift the system board, and then slide it toward the front of the chassis
Install
System Board
Identify the system board location highlighted in blue
Holding the system board holder, align the connector on the system board with the slots on the back of the chassis and place the system board in place.
Install the screws to secure the system board to the chassis.
Connect the cables to the system board
Connect the cables to the system board
Connect the cables to the system board
LOM riser card
Identify the LOM riser card location on the system board.
Align the connectors on the LOM riser card with the slot on the system.
Press the LOM riser card until the card is firmly seated on the system board connector and the two blue plastic snap hold the LOM riser card in place.
Tighten the screws to secure the LOM riser card to the system board.
Low profile left riser
Identify the low profile left riser location highlighted in blue
Position the riser to install the expansion card.
Insert the expansion card into the expansion card connector until the card is fully seated.
Close the expansion card latch
Lower the low profile left riser until the riser connector is fully seated in the connector of the system board.
Low profile right riser
Identify the low profile right riser location highlighted in blue
Position the riser to install the expansion card.
Insert the expansion card into the expansion card connector until the card is fully seated.
Close the expansion card latch
Lower the low profile right riser until the riser connector is fully seated in the connector of the system board.
System memory
Identify the system memory location highlighted in blue.
Align the edge connector of memory module with the alignment key of the memory module socket, and insert into the socket.
Press the memory module until the socket levers firmly click into place.
PHM
Internal Dual SD Module (IDSDM)
Identify the internal dual SD module (IDSDM) location highlighted in blue
Align the IDSDM connector with the connector on the system board
Press the IDSDM into the connector
Internal PERC riser
Identify the internal PERC riser location highlighted in blue.
Connect the cable to the internal PERC card.
Holding the blue touch points, align the slot on the internal PERC riser to the guide on the system board.
Insert the internal riser card’s edge connector firmly into the system board connector until the riser is fully seated.
Lift the plunger to lock the riser in place.
Close the cable guiding latch .

Align the tabs on the system cover with the guide slots on the system.
Push the system cover latch down.
Using a flat head or Phillips screwdriver, rotate the lock clockwise.
