Removal
Side Cover
Identify the side cover highlighted in blue.
Loosen the thumb screw that secures the side cover to the chassis.
Slide and lift the side cover off the chassis.
Wireless Module (WLAN)
Internal antenna (White)
Identify the internal antenna (white) highlighted in blue.
Remove the antenna cable from the routing guides on the chassis and system board.
Remove the screw that secures the antenna module (white cable) to the chassis.
Loosen the captive screw that secures the antenna module (white cable) to the chassis.
Remove the anternna cover from the chasis.
Thread the antenna module (white cable) through the chassis slot and then lift it off the chassis.
Install
Internal antenna (White)
Identify the internal antenna (white) position highlighted in blue.
Push the antenna module (white cable) though the slot the chassis.
Align the screw hole and captive screw on the antenna module (white cable) to the screw holes on the chassis.
Install the antenna cover in to the chasis.
Tighten the captive screw that secures the antenna module (white cable) to the chassis.
Install the screw that secures the antenna module (white cable) to the chassis.
Route the antenna cable through the routing guides on the chassis and system board.
Wireless Module (WLAN)
Side Cover
Identify the side cover location highlighted in blue.
Slide the side cover into place towards the front of the computer.
Tighten the thumb screw that secure the side cover to the chassis.
