Removal
Side Cover
Identify the side cover highlighted in blue.
Loosen the thumbscrews that secure the side cover to the system.
Slide and lift the side cover away from the system.
Coin Cell Battery
Identify the coin cell battery highlighted in blue.
Push the release lever on the coin cell battery socket to release it from the socket.
Remove the coin cell battery from the socket.
Memory Module
Identify the memory module highlighted in blue.
Using your fingertips, carefully spread apart the securing clips on each end until the memory module pops up.
Slide and remove the memory module from the memory module slot.
WLAN
SSD
Graphics Card
Identify the graphics card highlighted in blue.
Pull the tab to open the PCIe door.
Push and hold the securing tab on the graphics card slot and lift the graphics card out of the slot.
Fan Duct
Identify the fan duct highlighted in blue.
Press the retention tabs on both sides of the fan duct to release it.
Remove the fan duct off the chassis.
Hard Drive Assembly 2.5 inch
Identify the hard drive assembly highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the data and power cables from the hard drive.
Press the tab and lift the hard drive assembly to release it from the chassis.
Serial Module
Identify the serial module highlighted in blue.
Remove the screws that secure the serial module to the chassis.
Disconnect the serial module cable from the connector on the system board.
Remove the serial module off the chassis.
VGA Module
Identify the VGA module highlighted in blue.
Remove the screws that secure the VGA module to the chassis.
Disconnect the VGA module cable from the connector on the system board.
Remove the VGA module off the chassis.
Display Port Module
Identify the Display port module highlighted in blue.
Remove the screws that secure the Display port module to the chassis.
Disconnect the Display port module cable from the connector on the system board.
Remove the Display port module from the chassis.
HDMI Module
Identify the HDMI module highlighted in blue.
Remove the screws that secure the HDMI module to the chassis.
Disconnect the HDMI module cable from the connector on the system board.
Remove the HDMI module off the chassis.
Processor Fan and Heatsink Assembly
Processor
Identify the processor highlighted in blue.
Press down and push the release lever away from the processor to release it from the securing tab.
Lift the lever upward to lift the processor cover.
Remove the processor from the processor socket.
Front Bezel
Identify the front bezel highlighted in blue.
Gently pry and release the front bezel tabs sequentially from the top.
Rotate the front bezel outward from the chassis and remove the front bezel.
Hard Drive 3.5 inch
Identify the hard drive assembly highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the data and power cables from the hard drive.
Remove the screws that secure the hard drive to the system.
Remove the hard drive away from the system.
Front Input/Output Bracket
Identify the front input/output bracket highlighted in blue.
Remove the screws that secure the front input/output bracket to the system.
Remove the front input/output bracket from the system.
System Board
Identify the system board highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the intrusion switch, speaker and power button cables from the system board.
Disconnect the power and HDD cables from the system board.
Unroute the power and HDD cables from the routing guides on the system.
Remove the screws that secure the system board to the system.
Remove the standoff screw that secure the system board.
Remove the system board off the system.
Install
System Board
Identify the system board location highlighted in blue.
Slide the front I/O ports into the slots on the chassis and match the screw holes on the system board with those on the chassis.
Install the screws to secure the system board to the chassis.
Install the standoff screw to secure the system board to the chassis.
Route the cables through the routing guides on the system.
Connect the power and HDD cables to their respective connectors on the system board.

Connect the intrusion switch, speaker and power button cables from the system board.
Front Input/Output Bracket
Identify the front input/output bracket location highlighted in blue.
Place the front input/output bracket on the system.
Install the screws that secure the front input/output bracket to the system.
Hard Drive 3.5 inch
Identify the hard drive assembly location highlighted in blue.
Place the hard drive into the system.
Install the screws that secure the hard drive to the system.
Connect the data and power cables to the hard drive.
Front Bezel
Identify the front bezel location highlighted in blue.
Align the front cover tabs with the slots on the chassis.
Rotate the front cover towards the chassis and snap it into place.
Processor
Identify the processor location highlighted in blue.
Ensure that the release lever on the processor socket is fully extended in the open position.
Align the notches on the processor with the tabs on the socket and place it on the socket.
The processor is in place, lower the release lever and secure it under the tab on the processor cover.
Processor Fan and Heatsink Assembly
HDMI Module
Identify the HDMI module location highlighted in blue.
Insert the HDMI module into its slot from the inside of the system.
Connect the HDMI module cable to the connector on the system board.
Install the screws that secure the HDMI module to the chassis.
Display Port Module
Identify the Display port module location highlighted in blue.
Insert the Display port module into its slot from the inside of the system.
Connect the Display port module cable to the connector on the system board.
Install the screws to secure the Display port module to the chassis.
VGA Module
Identify the VGA module location highlighted in blue.
Insert the VGA module into its slot from the inside of the chassis.
Connect the VGA module cable to the connector on the system board.
Install the screws that secure the VGA module to the chassis.
Serial Module
Identify the serial module location highlighted in blue.
Insert the serial module into the slot on the chassis.
Connect the serial module cable to the connector on the system board.
Install the screws that secure the serial module to the chassis.
Hard Drive Assembly 2.5 inch
Identify the hard drive assembly location highlighted in blue.
Align the tabs on the hard drive assembly with the slots on the chassis, then snap it onto the disk drive assembly.
Connect the data and power cables to the connectors on the hard drive.
Fan Duct
Identify the fan duct location highlighted in blue.
Place the fan duct into the slots on the chassis.
Push the fan duct toward the back panel of the chassis until it clicks into place.
Graphics Card
Identify the graphics card location highlighted in blue.
Using the alignment post on the PCIe slot, insert the card into its connector on the system board and press down firmly.
Close the PCIe door.

Memory Module
Identify the memory module location highlighted in blue.
Align the notch on the memory module with the tab on the memory module slot.
Press the memory module down until it clicks into place.
Coin Cell Battery
Identify the coin cell battery location highlighted in blue.
Insert the coin cell battery into the socket with the positive side (+) label facing up.
Snap the coin cell battery into the socket.
Side Cover
Identify the side cover location highlighted in blue.
Align the tabs on the side cover with the slots and place the side cover on the system.
Tighten the thumbscrews that secure the side cover to the system.
