Removal
Side Cover
Identify the side cover highlighted in blue.
Slide the release latch until you hear a click.
Slide the side cover towards the back and lift it from the system.
Front Bezel
Identify the front bezel highlighted in blue.
Gently pry and release the front bezel tabs sequentially from the top.
Rotate the front bezel outward from the chassis and remove the front bezel.
Hard drive assembly
HDD and Optical Drive Bracket
Identify the hard drive and optical drive bracket highlighted in blue.
Move the lock handle from the locking mechanism towards the left to unlock the bracket and detach it from the chassis.
Lift the bracket and detach it from the mounting points on the chassis.
Rotate the bracket and place it on the chassis.
Lift the hard drive and optical drive bracket away from the computer.
Power supply unit
Identify the power supply unit highlighted in blue.
Unroute the SATA cables from the retention clip on the support bracket.
Remove the screws that secure the support bracket to the chassis.
Lift the support bracket off the chassis.
Disconnect the power supply unit cables from their connectors on the system board.
Unroute the power supply unit cables from the routing guides on the chassis.
Remove the screws that secure the power supply unit to the chassis.
Press the release latch and slide the power supply unit into the chassis.
Lift the power supply unit off the chassis.
Install
Power supply unit
Identify the power supply unit location highlighted in blue.
Place the power supply unit on the chassis and slide it towards the back of the chassis until it clicks in place.
Install the screws to secure the power supply unit to the chassis.
Route the power supply unit cables through their retention clips on the chassis.
Connect the power supply unit cables to their connectors on the system board.
Place the support bracket on the chassis and slide it towards the back of the chassis.
Install the screws to secure the support bracket to the chassis.
Route the SATA cables through the retention clip on the support bracket.
HDD and Optical Drive Bracket
Identify the hard drive and optical drive bracket location highlighted in blue.
Place the bracket upside down on the chassis.
Hold the bracket upright and align with its mounting points with the slots on the chassis.
Push the bracket until the assembly is secured onto the chassis.
Move the lock handle from the locking mechanism towards the right to lock the bracket in place.
Hard drive assembly
Front Bezel
Identify the front bezel location highlighted in blue.
Align the front cover tabs with the slots on the chassis.
Insert the front cover into the slots on the chassis and rotate the front cover towards the chassis and snap it into place.
Side Cover
Identify the side cover location highlighted in blue.
Slide the side cover towards the front of the system until you hear the release latch click.
