Said Akar is a driving force in the Infrastructure Solution Group Business at Dell Technologies, where he currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Europe, Middle East, and Africa, ISG Specialty. His strategic approach has expanded the business presence and led to significant sales growth in Compute, Networks, Storage, Data Protection, and Hyper-Converged within EMEA. This success is a testament to his leadership and expertise in meeting customers’ expectations around Multi-Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, security and Data Center Modernization demands. His previous role as the leader of the Storage BU in EMEA has further honed his skills for his current responsibilities.
With over 22 years of experience in Dell Technologies and various sales leadership roles in EMEA, Said has built an in-depth knowledge of the business needs and challenges of customers in this region and, with his team, provided them with the right solutions.
