How to Deploy an OS with the iDRAC7

Learn how to deploy an operating system via iDRAC7. Access the iDRAC and launch the virtual console. Power up the server. When prompted press "F10".

On the left-hand side menu navigate to "OS Deployment". Click "Deploy OS". If your RAID is already setup, click "Go Directly to OS Deployment".

Click the "Next" button. Select the desired operating system from the list. When done click the "Next" button. Choose the desired boot mode and then click "Next".

Insert the operating system media and then click "Next". Please note that now the server must now reboot. Click "Finish" to proceed. After rebooting the server will proceed with the standard operating system deployment process.
