How to Remove an Inspiron 3567, 3576 Keyboard

This video shows the procedure for removal and replacement of the Keyboard in your Inspiron 3567, 3576.

In this video we will demonstrate how to remove the keyboard. Before removing the keyboard read through the safety guidelines to protect your computer from potential damage and ensure your personal safety.

For more information about safety guidelines see the Service Manual at the Dell Support site. Before you begin, ensure that you turn off your computer and all attached peripherals.

To remove the keyboard we need to first remove the battery. Now, turn the computer over and open the display. Press and hold the Power button for five seconds to ground the computer and drain the flea power. Now, let’s remove the keyboard.

Use a plastic scribe and gently release the tabs that secure the keyboard to the palm rest assembly. Slide the keyboard up, to release it from the slots on the palm rest assembly.

Carefully turn the keyboard over and place it on the palm rest assembly. Open the latch and disconnect the keyboard cable from the system board. Lift the keyboard off the palm rest assembly.
