In this video, we show how to replace the OCP card on a PowerEdge R760xs before moving the OCP card read through and follow the safety guidelines to protect your system from potential damage and ensure your personal safety. In order to remove the OCP card, you must first remove the cover and air shroud to remove the cover. Use a screwdriver to rotate the lock counterclockwise to the unlocked position.
Next, lift the release latch until the system cover slides back, then lift the cover from the system to remove the air shroud, hold the air shroud at both ends and lift it out of the system to remove the OCP card, lift the OCP shroud and remove it next, open the blue latch to unlock it, then push it towards the rear of the system to disconnect it from the system board and slide it out to install the CP card, a line and slide the card into the system until firmly seated.
Then close the latch to secure the card in place next A line and lower the OCP shroud into place to install the air shroud, align it with the chassis and lower until firmly seated to install the cover, align the system cover with the guide slots on the system and place it on the system.
