How to Replace Primary Hard Drive on Precision 3630

This video will demonstrate the replacement procedure of a Primary Hard Drive for Precision 3630.

For more information about safety guidelines, see the owner's manual at Dell.com/Support. Before you begin, turn off the computer and disconnect all the attached peripherals. 

To remove the primary hard drive, identify and unlatch the right side cover. Lift the COVID off the device. Find the primary hard drive assembly and disconnect the cables. Unlatch the assembly and lift it up to remove it from the system. Unlatch and remove the hard drive from the assembly.

To reinstall the primary hard drive, re latch it to the hard drive assembly. Place the assembly back in the system and reconnect the cables. Re latch the right side cover to the system. For more information about your dell system, visit Dell.com/Support.
