To remove the power supply unit, unlatch the base cover and front bezel to remove them from the system. Identify the hard drive caddy and unplug the cables to remove it from the system. Find the disk drive cage and unplug the cables. Unlatch and remove the cage from the system. Flip the cage over. And unplug the cables to disconnect it from the system.
Identify the power supply unit and disconnect the cables. Loosen the 3 screws and remove the unit from the system. To reinstall the power supply unit, place it back in the system. Tighten the 3 screws. And reconnect the cables. Reconnect the disk drive cables and flip it over.
Relatch the cage to the system and plug in the cables. Reinsert the hard drive caddy in the system. And plug in the cables. Relatch the front bezel and base cover to the system. For more information about your Dell system, visit Dell.com/Support.
