CAUTION: Do not operate the system with the cover removed for a duration exceeding five minutes.
Turn off the system, including any attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from its electrical outlet.
Open the system.
Removing A Cooling Fan:
Remove the cooling shroud or power distribution board shroud as applicable.
Disconnect the fan's power cable from the power cable connector on the system board or power distribution board as applicable.
Lift the fan out of the cooling-fan bracket.
Installing A Cooling Fan:
Facing the front of the system, lower the fan into the cooling-fan bracket.
Connect the fan's power cable to the power cable connector on the system board or power distribution board as applicable.
Replace the cooling shroud or power distribution board shroud as applicable.
Close the system.
Reconnect the system to its electrical outlet and turn the system on, including any attached peripherals.
