Turn off the system, including any attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet and peripherals.
Open the system.
If installed, remove an expansion card from the riser. If installed, remove the iDRAC Ports card from expansion-card riser 1.
Removing Expansion-Card Risers:
Holding the touch points, lift the expansion-card riser from the riser connector on the system board.
Installing Expansion-Card Risers:
Align the expansion-card riser with the connector and the guide pins on the system board.
Lower the expansion-card riser into place until the expansion-card riser is fully seated in the connector.
If applicable, reinstall the expansion card into the expansion-card riser.
Close the system.
Reconnect the system to its electrical outlet and turn the system on, including any attached peripherals.
Install any device drivers required for the card as described in the documentation for the card.
