To remove the solid state drive, flip the laptop over and remove the 8 screws from the base cover. Pry the cover from the recess points near the hinges. Locate the SSD and remove the screws securing it to the motherboard. Lift the drive up and away from the system.
To reinstall the solid state drive, make sure the SSD holder is in the slot and place the drive back in its correct spot. Install the screw securing it to the system and secure the base cover.
