This video guides you through checking and updating Zoom or Microsoft Teams to ensure your collaboration touchpad works correctly. Learn how to verify your software version and update it in both Zoom and Microsoft Teams, followed by a simple test to confirm functionality.
To use the collaboration touchpad, you must have the latest version of Zoom or Microsoft Teams. To check your Zoom version, click on the Windows start button to search for an open Zoom workplace.
Click on your profile picture in the upper right corner of the screen. Hover your cursor over help and select about Zoom workplace to check the version.
To update Zoom, click on the profile picture again and select check for updates. Microsoft Teams should automatically update, but you can still check for available updates by clicking on the settings and more menu next to your profile picture on the top right of the team's window.
Then select Check for updates. The check for updates option only appears when new updates are pending. To check if the collaboration touchpad is working, join a Zoom or Teams call.
