Issues Fixed:
1. Updated Broadcom 570x option ROM to version 7.0.3.
2. Updated Broadcom 4401 option ROM to version 2.0.4.
3. Cleared temporary battery failure status after good battery inserted.
4. Changed Input Current limit.
5. Fixed the issue that SD card USB dongle failed to boot.
6. Fixed the issue that QuickSet icons occasionally get out of
synchronization.
7. Fixed the issue that a USB storage device may not boot when multiple
USB storage devices are connected.
8. Updated Prescott D-0 step microcode update and Northwood Extreme
Edition M-0 step microcode update.
9. Fixed the issue that user is unable to use USB keyboard to enter
password after several S3 resumes.
10. Updated PSA to Build 3012.
11. Updated thermal table and action.
12. Fixed the issue in which batteries with 0xff in the MSB of the serial
number would not be seen by the OS or Setup.
13. Fixed the issue in which system can not boot to the device
selected right after changing boot sequence in POST.
14. Changed the fan failure handling to give failed fans another chance
during power up.
15. Fixed issue where system would no longer resume after re-suspend.
16. Fixed issue where system would hang for several seconds on the first
resume after a cold boot if the CP Bay did not contain an IDE/ATAPI
device.
17. Changed SMBIOS max processor speed to 3.4 GHz.

Enhancements:
1. Added support for DVD+/-RW drives in Setup display and in SMBIOS.
2. Added support for PSID_DISABLE.
3. Added support to allow BIOS Admin Password to unlock the primary
HDD User Password.
4. Added new thermal throttling scheme.

    The Export Compliance Agreement appears.


  2. Click Yes, I accept this Agreement.
    The File Download window appears.



  3. Click the Save button.
    The Save As window appears.


  4. Select Desktop using the drop-down menu to the right of Save in.


  5. Click the Save button.
    A progress meter moves as the download is completed.


  6. If necessary, click X in the upper right-hand corner of the Download Progress Window to close it upon completion.




  7. Double click the Icon on your desktop labeled I9100A02.TXT.

Run the BIOS Update Utility From Windows Environment



  1. Double click the Icon on your desktop labeled BR76346.exe.


    The Dell Floppy BIOS Image creation window appears


  2. Click the Continue button.


    The Dell Floppy BIOS Image creation utility is copying a bootable image to your diskette.


  3. Click the Finish button.



  4. Shutdown your computer.


  5. Reboot your computer ensuring the newly created floppy disk is inserted in your floppy drive.


    Your computer will boot from the floppy diskette and flash the Systems BIOS.



After it has completed, remove the floppy diskette and restart your computer.
