Symptomer

An error message may display when performing the following steps: "Failed to initialize network connection"

  1. Secure Boot is enabled in the BIOS setup.
  2. Connect an Ethernet cable to the onboard LAN port.
  3. Turn on the computer and press F12 key to enter One-Time Boot Settings.
  4. Select UEFI HTTPs Boot.

Årsag

This issue is caused by BIOSConnect code corruption in BIOS.

Løsning

Note: Before starting the update, perform the following:
  • Back up all personal data. For more information, refer to Back Up and Recovery.
  • Connect the AC adapter.

Updating the BIOS to version 2.6.0 or later on the computer resolves the issue. To download and install the BIOS, refer to the BIOS Update Guide.
