Cause

The Dell DUPS is signed using a CA certificate, absence of CA cert in the certificate store results in DUP execution failures.

Microsoft Windows Operating systems carry an "Entrust Root Certification Authority (G2)" Certificate in a trusted CA store by default, even if it is deleted, it is recovered by the OS. OS customization may have removed this certificate.

Resolution

CA certificate "Entrust Root Certification Authority G2" is required to be present in Trusted Root Certificate Authorities store in Windows OS for successful execution of DUP in OS.

Certificate can be downloaded from https://crt.sh/?q=entrust+G2This hyperlink is taking you to a website outside of Dell Technologies. to install in Windows trust store.
