Dell Automation Platform: NativeEdge Outcome Node FW Shows Unknown for PowerEdge with HBA355i

Symptoms

In the Dell Automation Platform Orchestrator, under Inventory > Infrastructure >[Node Name] > Hardware > Properties, the firmware bundle Version shows either Unknown or the incorrect version after the correct firmware bundle is applied.

In this instance, the Node is an XR5610. The node has a HBA355i as its drive controller.

Cause

The NativeEdge firmware bundles for 4.1 and 4.2 do not contain the HBA355i firmware release. This causes the unknown message in the user interface (UI)

Resolution

Open a Service Request (SR) with Dell Support for assistance to address this issue.
