Symptoms

In NativeEdge v 3.2.0.0, when an endpoint has a deployment running on iSCSI datastore, and then all the connected multipaths to the iscsi targets are down, the datastore will become read-only and the status will turn offline. Upon recovery of one of the multipaths to the iSCSI targets, the datastore will remain read-only and the status stays offline.

Cause

It is working as design.

Resolution

To recover this datastore state, a reboot on the endpoint is required.

Improvements will be made into future NativeEdge releases.
