Symptoms

VM 백업이 일정 시간 실행된 후 실패합니다. UI에 오류 코드가 표시됩니다. ABV0016 그리고 메시지 :

VM direct engine local host is unable to backup the virtual machine because the API issue

Cannot complete the operation. See the event log for details. A disk was closed during the operation. This can happen due to VM lifeCycle events such as VM power off, vMotion and HA failover. The operation should be retried.

LWD 기반 스냅샷 동기화 실패 수행

VMware 제품 CloudDR은 PowerProtect Data Manager로 VM을 백업할 때 VM에서 스냅샷 작업을 수행합니다. 위 스크린샷에서 PowerProtect Data Manager 백업이 실행 중일 때 CloudDR에서 'Reconfigure virtual machine' 작업을 수행하는 것을 볼 수 있습니다. 이로 인해 PowerProtect Data Manager 백업이 실패합니다.

Cause

PowerProtect Data Manager 백업과 VMware의 CloudDR 활동이 겹칩니다.

 

Resolution

VMware의 CloudDR 일정을 변경하여 CloudDR 활동과 PowerProtect Data Manager 백업 간의 중복을 방지합니다.
