Symptoms
A critical alert is reported in NSX-T for the Edge VM issue.
Moref-id of Edge virtual machines is correct in vCenter server.
Issue is found in version NSX-T 3.2.1.2 and VCF 4.5 but have not concluded that this is a version-specific issue.
Error description:

Moref-id of Edge virtual machines is correct in vCenter server.
Issue is found in version NSX-T 3.2.1.2 and VCF 4.5 but have not concluded that this is a version-specific issue.
Error description:
The VM "Edge VM" with moref id "vm-xxxxx" corresponding to the Edge Transport node fede "Edge Transport node id" vSphere placement parameters is found in NSX inventory but is not present in vCenter. Please check if the VM has been removed in vCenter or is present with a different VM moref id.

Cause
Configuration sync issue between NSX-T and vCenter server
Resolution
To resolve this issue:

The API response is 200 once it is successfully completed. The alert turns to a "resolve" state immediately. No other action is required.
- Refresh the connection using the API command.
- Verify that the NSX-T latest backup is available.
- The API can be run from the "Postman" API Platform.
- Use the below POST API, add admin user account for authorization, and keep the content type as "xml."
POST https://<manager-ip>/api/v1/transport-nodes/<tn-id>?action=refresh_node_configuration&resource_type=EdgeNode&read_only=true <tn-id> is the edge transport node id <manager-ip> is the FQDN of NSX-T VIP
