Symptoms

10%에서 업그레이드 실패, 오류:

Cause

첫 번째 원인 :

  • 업그레이드된 WLD 도메인의 vCenter에서 문제가 발견되었습니다.
  • 힙 메모리가 부족하여 vsphere-ui 서비스가 충돌함

    Java 메모리 부족 오류
  • /var/log/vmware/vsphere-ui/logs/vsphere-ui-runtime.log.stout에서 다음을 수행합니다.

Heap dump file created [968706533 bytes in 3.764 secs]
Terminating due to java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
  • 아래 명령을 사용하여 vSphere UI의 힙 메모리를 확인합니다. 
    cloudvm-ram-size -l
    힙 메모리 확인

두 번째 문제 :

  • 클러스터의 첫 번째 노드에 대한 디스크 그룹이 누락되었습니다
  • 첫 번째 문제로 인해 디스크 그룹을 추가할 수 없음

 

Resolution

  • 아래 명령을 사용하여 힙 메모리를 2500으로 늘렸습니다. 
    cloudvm-ram-size -C 2048 vsphere-ui
  • vCenter 문제를 해결한 후 누락된 디스크 그룹을 추가했습니다
  • 업그레이드가 성공적으로 진행되었습니다.
