Cause
O MC-LAG é afetado quando o status da sessão keepalive fica inativo no SONiC. O keepalive no SONiC é configurado com comunicação L3 IPv4 semelhante ao link de backup no OS9 e no OS10, o que geralmente não afeta o status VLT-Portchannel. O status do peer-link no OS9 e no OS10 afetará o status VLT-Portchannel. No entanto, no SONiC, o status da sessão keepalive deve estar ativo para que o MC-LAG fique ativo. Para o link keepalive, o carrega heartbeat periódico entre dispositivos de mesmo nível do MC-LAG e também é usado para sincronizar o estado entre dispositivos de mesmo nível do MC-LAG. Ao contrário do SONiC, o OS9 e o OS10 usam o link par para sincronizar o estado entre os dispositivos de mesmo nível do VLT.
Depois que o link da sessão keepalive fica inativo, o status do MC-LAG em ambos os dispositivos de mesmo nível do MC-LAG fica ativo/desconhecido devido à falha de sincronização entre os dois dispositivos de mesmo nível.

Em Estado de problema (status keepalive-link desligado desligando as portas membro do Po200)
Depois que o link da sessão keepalive fica inativo, o status do MC-LAG em ambos os dispositivos de mesmo nível do MC-LAG fica ativo/desconhecido devido à falha de sincronização entre os dois dispositivos de mesmo nível.

Resolution
Para que o MC-LAG continue funcionando sem nenhum problema, o status keepalive link também deve manter o funcionamento. A porta de gerenciamento é normalmente usada para o link keepalive, mas o port channel com endereço IP atribuído a ele pode ser usado para o link keepalive para fins de redundância. O comportamento (que o MC-LAG será afetado quando o status do link keepalive ficar inativo) descrito neste artigo da KB é esperado em todas as versões pelo menos até o SONiC versão 4.2.0.
