Cause

MC-LAG, SONiC'de tutma oturumu durumu aşağı iner. SONiC'deki keepalive, genellikle VLT-Portchannel durumunu etkilemeden OS9 ve OS10'da yedekleme bağlantısına benzer IPv4 L3 iletişimi ile yapılandırılmıştır. OS9 ve OS10'da eş bağlantı durumu bunun yerine VLT-Portchannel durumunu etkileyecektir. Ancak SONiC'de MC-LAG'in çalışır durumda olması için tutma oturumu durumunun güncel olması gerekir. Tutma bağlantısı için MC-LAG eş aygıtları arasında periyodik sinyal taşır ve MC-LAG eş aygıtları arasındaki durumu senkronize etmek için de kullanılır. SONiC'nin aksine OS9 ve OS10, durumu VLT eş aygıtları arasında senkronize etmek için eş bağlantıyı kullanır.

Resolution

MC-LAG'in herhangi bir sorun olmadan devam etmek ve çalıştırması için keepalive link status (bağlantı durumunun) da güncel ve çalışıyor olması gerekir. Yönetim bağlantı noktası normalde tutma bağlantısı için kullanılır ancak IP adresi atanmış bağlantı noktası kanalı yedeklilik amacıyla tutma bağlantısı için kullanılabilir. Bu KB makalesinde açıklanan davranış (mc-LAG, tutma bağlantı durumu devre dışı bırakıldığında etkilenmiştir) en azından SONiC sürüm 4.2.0'a kadar tüm sürümlerde beklenir.
