Symptoms

Bei der Ausgabe von FREE with CHECKONLINEPATHSTATUS(NO/YES) für das Online-Gerät zeigt die ESNPT31E-Meldung eine unklare Ursache für den Fehler an.

Cause

Dies ist auf ein Softwareproblem zurückzuführen.

Resolution

The code has been updated to fail with the appropriate ESNPT31E message depending on the CHECKONLINEPATHSTATUS settings.    
                                              
If devices are online to a current system and CHECKONLINEPATHSTATUS(N) is specified , the
 ' ESNPT31E FREE TARGET DEVICE WAS FOUND ONLINE TO THIS SYSTEM. THE TARGET DEVICE MUST BE OFFLINE TO THIS SYSTEM' error is issued.   

If devices are online to any system and CHECKONLINEPATHSTATUS(Y) is specified, the ' ESNPT31E FREE                
TARGET DEVICE WAS FOUND ONLINE TO A SYSTEM. THE TARGET  DEVICE MUST BE OFFLINE TO ALL SYSTEMS ' error is issued.

  • Für Mainframe Enablers 8.5 wurde PTF SN85069 entwickelt, um das Problem zu beheben. Es kann vom Dell Online Support heruntergeladen werden.
  • Für Mainframe Enablers 8.4 wurde PTF SN84088 entwickelt, um das Problem zu beheben. Es kann vom Dell Online Support heruntergeladen werden.
