Symptoms

Lors de l’émission de FREE avec CHECKONLINEPATHSTATUS (NO/YES) sur le périphérique en ligne, le message ESNPT31E indique une raison peu claire de l’échec.

Cause

Cela est dû à un problème logiciel.

Resolution

The code has been updated to fail with the appropriate ESNPT31E message depending on the CHECKONLINEPATHSTATUS settings.    
                                              
If devices are online to a current system and CHECKONLINEPATHSTATUS(N) is specified , the
 ' ESNPT31E FREE TARGET DEVICE WAS FOUND ONLINE TO THIS SYSTEM. THE TARGET DEVICE MUST BE OFFLINE TO THIS SYSTEM' error is issued.   

If devices are online to any system and CHECKONLINEPATHSTATUS(Y) is specified, the ' ESNPT31E FREE                
TARGET DEVICE WAS FOUND ONLINE TO A SYSTEM. THE TARGET  DEVICE MUST BE OFFLINE TO ALL SYSTEMS ' error is issued.

  • Pour Mainframe Enablers 8.5, le PTF SN85069 a été développé pour corriger le problème. Il est disponible au téléchargement sur le site de support en ligne Dell.
  • Pour Mainframe Enablers 8.4, le PTF SN84088 a été développé pour corriger le problème. Il est disponible au téléchargement sur le site de support en ligne Dell.

Action
