Symptoms

När du utfärdar FREE med CHECKONLINEPATHSTATUS (NEJ/JA) mot onlineenheten visar ESNPT31E-meddelandet en otydlig orsak till felet.

Cause

Det beror på ett programvaruproblem.

Resolution

The code has been updated to fail with the appropriate ESNPT31E message depending on the CHECKONLINEPATHSTATUS settings.    
                                              
If devices are online to a current system and CHECKONLINEPATHSTATUS(N) is specified , the
 ' ESNPT31E FREE TARGET DEVICE WAS FOUND ONLINE TO THIS SYSTEM. THE TARGET DEVICE MUST BE OFFLINE TO THIS SYSTEM' error is issued.   

If devices are online to any system and CHECKONLINEPATHSTATUS(Y) is specified, the ' ESNPT31E FREE                
TARGET DEVICE WAS FOUND ONLINE TO A SYSTEM. THE TARGET  DEVICE MUST BE OFFLINE TO ALL SYSTEMS ' error is issued.

  • För Mainframe Enablers 8.5 har PTF SN85069 utvecklats för att korrigera problemet. Det går att ladda ner från Dells onlinesupport.
  • För Mainframe Enablers 8.4 har PTF SN84088 utvecklats för att korrigera problemet. Det går att ladda ner från Dells onlinesupport.
