Symptoms

Bij het gratis geven van CHECKONLINEPATHSTATUS (NO/YES) op het online apparaat, geeft het ESNPT31E-bericht een onduidelijke reden van de fout aan.

Cause

Dit is te wijten aan een softwareprobleem.

Resolution

The code has been updated to fail with the appropriate ESNPT31E message depending on the CHECKONLINEPATHSTATUS settings.    
                                              
If devices are online to a current system and CHECKONLINEPATHSTATUS(N) is specified , the
 ' ESNPT31E FREE TARGET DEVICE WAS FOUND ONLINE TO THIS SYSTEM. THE TARGET DEVICE MUST BE OFFLINE TO THIS SYSTEM' error is issued.   

If devices are online to any system and CHECKONLINEPATHSTATUS(Y) is specified, the ' ESNPT31E FREE                
TARGET DEVICE WAS FOUND ONLINE TO A SYSTEM. THE TARGET  DEVICE MUST BE OFFLINE TO ALL SYSTEMS ' error is issued.
Permanente oplossing:
  • Voor Mainframe Enablers 8.5 is PTF SN85069 ontwikkeld om het probleem te verhelpen. Het is beschikbaar om te downloaden van Dell Online Support.
  • Voor Mainframe Enablers 8.4 is PTF SN84088 ontwikkeld om het probleem te verhelpen. Het is beschikbaar om te downloaden van Dell Online Support.
