Instructions
Different ways to de-attach a LUN from host/hosts using UEMCLI :
1. uemcli -u admin -p admin_pass /stor/prov/luns/lun -id LUN_ID set -lunHosts 'HOST_ID, HOST_ID'
This will define the LUN access to certain hosts and will automatically de-attach it from all other un-mentioned hosts
Or:
2. uemcli -u admin -p admin_pass /stor/prov/luns/lun -id LUN_ID set -lunHosts ""
This will de-attach the LUN from all assigned hosts
Get LUN ID command
uemcli /stor/prov/luns/lun show
Get Host ID command
uemcli /remote/host show
1. uemcli -u admin -p admin_pass /stor/prov/luns/lun -id LUN_ID set -lunHosts 'HOST_ID, HOST_ID'
This will define the LUN access to certain hosts and will automatically de-attach it from all other un-mentioned hosts
Or:
2. uemcli -u admin -p admin_pass /stor/prov/luns/lun -id LUN_ID set -lunHosts ""
This will de-attach the LUN from all assigned hosts
Get LUN ID command
