Symptoms

NetWorker VMware Protection(NVP)vProxyアプライアンスを介して実行されるVMバックアップは、次のエラーで失敗します。

Cause

vProxyは、バックアップ前にVM移行(storage vMotion)を無効にしようとします。ただし、vCenter ServerにはVM再配置を無効にするオプションがすでに設定されています。このオプションは、NVPを使用して、ユーザーまたは以前のバックアップのようなアプリケーションによって設定できます。NVPによって設定されている場合は、バックアップの終了時にフラグをクリアする必要がありますが、バックアップの不適切な終了により、このクリーンアップ手順が失敗する可能性があります。

Resolution

問題を確認する手順:

  1. vProxyにadminとしてログインし、root:sudo su - rootに切り替えます。
  2. binディレクトリへの変更  
    cd  /opt/emc/vproxy/bin
  3. 次のコマンドを実行して、ライブラリ パスをロードします。 
    source ../unit/vproxy.env
  4. 「vmconfig」ツールで移行が無効になっているかどうかを確認します。  
    ./vmconfig -c info -k "vm-MOREF" -l moref -p Password-for-vCenter -u username-for-vCenter -v vcentername

メモ: 「vm-MOREF」をNMCに移動するには、[show message]と[Get Full log]をクリックします。ここには、「vm-1311」のようなMOEFが表示されます。その他のヘルプについては、「./vmconfig」と入力してください。

移行の有効化が「false」の場合は、次の回避策に進みます。移行が有効になっている場合は、さらに診断が必要になる場合があります。この場合、回避策を適用する必要はありません。


対処方法:

「enable-migration」を使用してvmconfigツールを実行し、移行を手動で有効にする 
./vmconfig -c "enable-migration" -k "vm-MOREf" -l moref -p **** -u username -v vcentername
Example: 
./vmconfig -c "enable-migration" -k vm-94 -l moref -p *** -u administrator@vsphere.local -v 10.1.2.3
