Symptoms

Kaksi eri toimipaikoissa sijaitsevaa ECS:ää on yhdistettävä.
Kun DR VDC yritetään lisätä ensisijaiseen ECS:ään, käyttöliittymässä näkyy seuraava virheilmoitus:

  
Virtual Data Center creation failure. Be sure that you have correctly entered the IP address(s) of online devices and that Data Services has completed initialization. Please correct input or retry after a few minutes. Service Error details: Error 7000 (http: 500): An error occurred in the API Service. An error occurred in the API service. Cause: error insertVdcInfo.

Cause

Toissijaisen ECS:n VDC luodaan ensisijaisen VDC:n kautta ja kun se lisätään liittoutumiseen. Jos VDC on jo luotu, toimenpide epäonnistuu.

Resolution

VDC, joka on jo luotu toissijaisessa sivustossa. Se, mitä on yritetty lisätä ensisijaiseen sivustoon, ei toimi, mikä johtaa yllä olevaan virheilmoitukseen.
Uusimman ECS-järjestelmänvalvojan oppaan ohjeiden mukaan toissijaiseen ECS-sivustoon tarvitsee luoda vain yksi tallennusvaranto ja ladata kelvollinen käyttöoikeus.


Toissijaiseen ECS:ään ei saa luoda VDC:tä. Se luodaan ensisijaisen ECS-sivuston kautta.

 

Ensure the site you are adding has a valid license uploaded and has at least one
storage pool in the Ready state.

If you encounter this issue, open a Service Request with Dell EMC customer support and note this KB.
