Permission inheritance for restore does not inherit from the NDMP root directory.

Cause

Regarding RESTORE_OPTIONS: 0x00000004

Resolution

In OneFS 8.0.0 and later releases, permissions of an intermediate directory is the same as the first file restored within that directory. 0x00000004 reverts back to the former restore method, and sets the permissions of the intermediate directories to 0700 and sets UID or GID to 0.

Refer to the applicable administration guide for setting NDMP environment variables such as for isi ndmp settings variables create.
