Symptoms

環境：
DELL EMC 軟體：適用於 Solaris 版本 6.0 P03 修補程式 1 的 PowerPath。
DELL EMC 軟體：適用於 Solaris 的 PowerPath 6.0 版 P03。
DELL EMC 軟體：適用於 Solaris 6.0 版 P04 的 PowerPath。
DELL EMC 軟體：SRDF Metro
DELL EMC HW：VMAX3

雖然已在「powermt display options」中啟用「近接」，但 PowerPath 並未將遠端陣列報告為「asb：prox」，而且所有路徑都顯示「active：alive」

Cause

Solaris 上的 PowerPath 無法自動偵測設定為待機的次優路徑 （接近自動待機）。啟用自動待機和鄰近感應後，powermt 命令

中仍會將所有路徑 （包括次優路徑） 報告為「Active」，而非「asb：prox」。此為設計運作方式。Solaris 上的 asb：prox 僅適用於 VPLEX geo 叢集，不適用於 SRDF Metro：此功能是在 PowerPath for Solaris 最新 （也是最終） 版本開發後提供。因此，正常現象是看到所有裝置都為「作用中」而非「asb：prox」

Resolution

適用於 Solaris 的 PowerPath 會按照在 SRDF Metro 環境中的設計運作。如有需要，可使用如下手動命令將遠端陣列的路徑設定為待機：  
powermt set mode=standby dev=c14t50000975a8134c1f
powermt set mode=standby dev=c30t50000975a8134c9f
在 Solaris 環境中，僅 VPLEX 會考慮「近接」功能，但不會考慮 VMAX SRDF Metro。由於 Oracle 在 Solaris 上的開發已停止，因此 PowerPath 在 Solaris 上的新功能開發也已停止。
