To Save Configuration
- Click on the Gear icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen as seen below
- Click Save to Startup Configuration
To Backup Configuration
- On the left menu, click Switch Management then File Update and Backup
- Click on Edit next to Backup Files
- Under File Type And Protocol click Startup Configuration and HTTP.
- When you click OK the configuration will be saved locally on your computer for future use.
Note: You should always backup configuration before making changes so you can revert if needed.
To Apply a Backup Configuration to a switch
- On the left menu, click Switch Management then File Update and Backup
- Click on Edit next to Update Firmware / Configuration
- Under File Type and Protocol make sure Configuration Download is selected, and HTTP
- Click Choose File and browse to the location of your backup configuration
- Click Startup Configuration and click OK
Note: If backing up or applying a backup configuration fails, make sure there is no firewall or antimalware software blocking the transfer process
