| Resolution | Cause This event occurs when the system software unable to communicate with the nodes Baseboard Management Controller (BMC). The system software uses the BMC to monitor the hardware so a failure to communicate means we cannot accurately reflect the state of the hardware. In addition to this alert, the BMC communication problem may cause other Base Enclosure hardware alerts to be raised (that is power supplies or Backup Battery Unit (BBUs)). Solution 1. Often the communications problem is temporary and clear itself without any intervention and no additional action is required. 2. If the condition persists for more than 30 minutes, corrective action must be taken, contact technical support for further assistance. |
