How to Export Dell Encryption Management Agent Inventory to an XML File

Warning: The next step is a Windows Registry edit:
  1. Right-click the Start Menu and select Run.

  2. Open the Windows Registry Editor by entering regedit in the Run window and selecting OK.

  3. Go to HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\DellMgmtAgent\Parameters.
  4. Right-click and select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value.

  5. Name the new DWORD DumpXMLInventory and set its value to 1.

  6. Restart the computer from the windows Start Menu to allow the registry change to take effect.

  7. Once the computer has been restarted, right-click the system tray icon for the Dell Encryption Management Agent and select Check for Policy Updates.

  8. The inventory information is written to C:\ProgramData\Dell\Dell Data Protection\Inventory.xml.
