Dell U4919DW monitor supports a maximum resolution of 5120 x 1440 @ 60Hz and Multi-function DisplayPort (MFDP) over USB-C. Your computer must meet the following specification:

Switching to lower primary resolution for HDMI 1.4
Dell U4919DW monitor is factory defaulted at HDMI EDID with three Block (Detailed Timing Descriptor) to support 5120 x 1440 @ 60Hz. To display a resolution of 3840 x 1080 @ 60Hz or lower, you must switch the monitor HDMI EDID from three Block to two Block.
- Remove all input cables from the monitor
- Press and hold Button 3 and Button 4 for 5 seconds
- A message box appears. Select Enable to switch to lower primary resolution
To display 5120 x 1440 resolution over HDMI again, you must switch the monitor back to HDMI EDID 3 Block. Follow Steps 1 & 2, and Select Disable.
