Setting the correct Management Mode
On the inside of the removable side cover there is a 2" x 1" label which denotes the manageability mode with which the computer was purchased. The numbers correspond to the table below.
- Open the chassis. Look inside its cover for a white label. (Figure 1)

- This label has a number on it that indicates the management mode you must choose to get the appropriate configuration for the computer. (Figure 2 [English only])
The No TLS option only applies to the following countries: China, France, Hong Kong, Israel, Korea, Poland, and Russia.

- Replace the chassis cover and turn on the computer. At initialization the following text appears, pay attention to the green text. (Figure 3 [English only])

- Type in the number that corresponds to the label on the cover and follow the instructions on the screen. (Figure 4 [English only])
Warning: Once the number is confirmed, you cannot change the mode again.

- Once the initialization is completed, the computer shuts down. This is part of the normal operation. Turn on the computer to continue.
