Recycling Dell Monitors - How to Get Disassembly Instructions for Dell Monitors

Looking for disassembly or teardown instructions for your Dell monitor? Third-party recyclers require proper instructions for removing parts and general product disassembly instructions to ensure that they can recycle the units properly.

If you are looking to recycle your Dell monitor through a third-party recycler, they require general product disassembly instructions. Instructions for removing parts in each product can usually be found in the user manual of the product. However, the user manual for Dell monitors does not contain disassembly or teardown instructions for safety reasons.

To get the disassembly or teardown instructions for your Dell monitor for recycling purposes only, go to the Dell.com/support website, identify your Dell monitor, and find the manuals under the Documentation tab. If you are unable to access the information, send an email to Global_Support_Monitors@Dell.com with information about your Dell monitor such as the model number and Service Tag (if available).

1. Teardown instructions are available in English only. Translation to any non-English language is not available.
2. Teardown instructions are available for Dell monitors shipped from the calendar year 2018 onwards only.
   NOTE: Disassembly instructions for Dell monitors that shipped before 2018 are not available.
3. For models with multiple second-tier manufacturers, instructions are provided in the teardown manual upon identifying the appropriate manufacturer and the associated process for that product.
